How can I support MJIP’s mission?

We welcome collaboration with individuals and organizations committed to expanding access to justice and helping people and families who might otherwise struggle to be heard.
What types of matters can MJIP help with?
MJIP assists individuals, families, and communities with matters involving justice, safety, accountability, and access to meaningful support. This may include child and family welfare concerns, unresolved violent crimes, missing persons, suspected wrongful convictions, civil rights concerns, government accountability, and other situations where advocacy, research, investigation, resource navigation, or additional support may help.
Does MJIP charge for assistance?
MJIP evaluates each request individually. The availability and type of assistance may depend on the nature of the matter, the resources required, and MJIP’s capacity. If any costs apply to a particular service or arrangement, they will be discussed in advance.
Who is eligible for assistance?
Individuals, families, advocates, and others with relevant information may submit a matter for consideration. MJIP places particular emphasis on cases involving people and communities that may not have received meaningful investigative attention.
